What's in a Name?
XtremeSkyJumpers are sold under many different names around the world ... Sky Runners, Powerisers, PoweriZers, 7LeagueBoots, Flying Jumpers, Pro Jumpers, Flying Locusts, Professional Stilts, Jumping Stilts, Power Stilts, PowerSkips and Velocity Stilts.
Is it Safe?
This is a big issue for most people! When they see the footage of the guys doing the extreme stuff, they immediately associate the jumpers with injuries. But the truth is, the 'danger' is comparable to skate boarding or riding a bike. Please be aware that the 'extreme stuff' in our footage is performed by people with advanced skills and should only be attempted after much practice and in the appropriate setting (padded gymnasium) Remember that if you wear the appropriate safety accessories you will be protected from most bumps and bruises. Helmets, knee and elbow pads should be worn. The XtremeSkyJumpers spring acts like a shock absorber and as a result the body experiences very little impact shock. XtremeSkyJumpers is therefore very low impact for your joints. This is an important consideration when choosing a form of exercise.
How do I Learn?
It is not as hard as it looks! The body has mechanisms in place that quickly adapt to this type of stability training. When one presents the neuromuscular system with an instable base, the core muscle groups quickly respond by learning new patterns to allow a person to balance. Like any new skill, it simply takes practice to learn! For some this means walking in 10 mins and for others a few hours or even days may be needed. From walking one can progress to small jumps, bigger steps, and eventually running and high jumping. The rate at which an individual learns will depend on many factors - what activities involving balance they have performed in the past (skate boarding, horse riding, roller blading etc), at what level their kinesthetic awareness and special orientation is, and what natural talents they possess!
Is this a Good Form of Exercise?
There is no doubt that this is exercise. It is more difficult to learn the skill to use a skate board, but it is more 'tiring' to use the jumpers. It is an excellent activity to build strength, endurance and muscle tone in the lower body and abdominal area. Fly-jumping will improve motor skills, cardiovascular and respiratory fitness, as well as being a great way to maintain or obtain a healthy weight.
What Ages is this for?
All Ages! The limits are 20 Kg's - 110 Kg's. XtremeSkyJumpers promotes health, fitness, co ordination and skill, and good old fashioned fun. There is nothing stopping you from getting your own pairs and making this a family activity!
What Size am I?
The jumpers come in 2 physical sizes - adults and teen/child sizes. The two physical sizes are further categorized into weight classes. The tension of the spring is set to suit the weight of the user. If one exceeds the weight limit, the spring will bend more and wear faster. If one is too light for the jumper spring tension, then they will struggle to get the spring to bend.

We will complete the order form and allocate an order number and send the form back to you along with bank details. From here all you need to do is make payment and wait. What About Delivery?
Delivery time can be anywhere between 0 - 2 weeks, depending on availability of stock. This will be clearly stated on your order form. Orders are filled on a first pay, first receive basis. Please make your payment promptly to avoid delays. Delivery charges are R50-00 for Cape Town and surrounding areas, and R100-00 for other areas in out of the Western Province. For delivery outside Cape Town, we will make arrangements with you to use a postal service.
Can I/We Become a Distributor?
Any individual / company is welcome to distribute our products. The prices are simply set according to order quantity.
